NORTH POLE OF CHINA
As the northernmost county of China, Mohe haslong been
reputed as the Comb of Golden Rooster and the Crown of Swan.Besides dense
forests, it is also rich in mineral resources and wildlife species. Hidden in
rolling mountains are precious local products, including more than 300 kinds of
medical herbs.
The county‘s Beiji Village is called the North Pole of China. Around the summer Solstice, the sun can be seen almost 24 hours a day. Looking northwards at midnight, one can see the sky in gray color, as if were at dusk or dawn.
Tourists can also enjoy polar lights .In addition, historical sites of the Qing Dynasty and the Manchurian State, a puppet government of Japan, are often found. There are also the well-known Ancient Golden Post Road and the Cochineal Valley.
