CHANGHANHOT TOURIST & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE
Located northwest of Baicheng City, where Jilin Province,
Heilongjiang Province and the inner Mongolia autonomous Region meet, the
Chaghanhot Tourist & Economic Development Zone is 45 kilometres from the
city proper of Baicheng and Wulanhot City. Combining tourism with food,
accommodation and recreation , the development zone consists of one island and
9 gardens,namely, the Sun and The moon Island on Tuanjie Lake,Historical
Personages Garden,European Customs
Garden , Ethnic Customs Garden ,Green Grass Garden , Bathing Bank Garden ,
Floral and Faunal Garden, Eco Agriculture Garden, Green Water Garden and
Century Garden.
A wide variety of fitness and leisure facilities can satisfy
different demands of tourists. In addition to a 40000 square meter horse racing
course and a 3000 square meter hunting ground, there is a children ‘s paradise
offering sliding boards ,flying car and other recreational apparatus
CULTURE TEMPLE
Located on the northeastern side of Jiangnan Bridge in the
city proper of Jilin, it is a stateAA class tourist resort. Measuring 221
meters from north to south and 74 meters from east to west, it covers an area
of 16354 square meters .Devoted too Coonfucius, Confucianism and Confucian
culture, it offers exhibitions on the biography of Confucius ,Chinese imperial
examination system and Chinese ancient architectures. It also holds a forest of
steles.
CEMETERY OF EMPRESS XIAO ZHUANG
Located in Changshan Town, the cemetery features an
exhibition hall of the tomb of the Qing Empress Xiao Zhuang .The main chamber
is devoted to all the life of Empress Xiao Zhuang; the western chamber exhibits
documents about the tomb of Empress and
the eastern chamber introduces legends about the tomb. Also inside the compound
is a large stele with inscriptions in Manchu and Mongolian languages dating to
the Qing Dynasty .It is a provincial class cultural relics under important
protection.
CHANGCHUN FILM STUDIO’S CENTURY CITY
Located in the Changchun Jingyuetan Tourist and Economic
Development Zone and conceived by a world top notch design company, the Century
City displays special effects of film and TV through the state of the art
science and technology, demonstrating China’s advanced technology in the film
industry.
MUSEUM OF THE IMPERIAL PALACE
OF PUPPET MANCHUKUO
Constructed on the site of the imperial palace of the puppet
Manchuku at no 5 on North Guangfu Rd in the northeastern corner off Changchun
City, the museum encompasses palaces, gardens, horse racing course, a holy
temple and the residential ground of the guardian troop, numbering dozens of
buildings and covering an area of 137000 square meters.
Most of the architectures here are in European Gothic style,
while the rest are halls featuring a combination of Chinese and Japanese
architectural styles and tile roofed houses in traditional Chinese Style. The
entire compound is divided into 2 sections: imperial court devoted to political
affairs and residential quarters for the imperial family.
This was where Chinese last emperor Puyi resided when he
acted as the emperor of the Manchukuo, a puppet regime propped up by Japanese
invaders.
