The modern forest monastery is founded by Ajahn Buddhadasa , one of Thailand's most famous monks. The 150 acre forest temple is located beside Highway No 41, approximately 50 kilometres north from Surat Thani. With a serene ambience, it is perfect for meditation with the temple itself a combination of natural sandy grounds, rocks and trees.
