Designed and developed in 2000 as a 9 hole course by the Delhi Development Authority, Qutab Golf Course was the first public golf course in India with a " pay and play " facility . In 2002, it was extended into an 18 hole course, with a state of the art driving range and training facility . Remains of the Jahanpanah walls, the fourth city of Delhi , established by Muhammad bin Tughlaq in the 14th century, border the course lending it an age old charm.
