2. BONGEUNSA (TEMPLE))
The temple was build in 794 CE. During the Joseon Dynasty , it was the largest temple in Seoul and the magnificent splendor of the old days still remain here. The temple, where people can experience Buddhist culture in the center of the city , is highly popular among tourists.
3. KOREA CULTURAL HOUSE
This is the workplace of traditional artisans where you can experience traditional culture. Visitors
can watch artisans make handicrafts or make them firsthand under the instruction of artisans. In addition, tradition performances are held every Wednesday.
4. SEONJEONGNEUNG ( Royal Tombs)
here, King Seongjong, the 9th king of the Joseon Dynasty, rests in peace with Queen Jeonghyeon , as well as King Junggong , the 11th king f the Dynasty. The royal tombs are preserved quite well and the place was listed as UNESCO WOLRD CULTURAL HERITAGE SITE in 2009.
