Phra Buddha Mongkol Maharaj is located on top of Hatyai Park and the golden standing Buddha stands tall at around 20 meters. It is the tallest standing Buddha in Southern Thailand and its weighs 200 tons and made in 1999 to celebrate King of Thailand's 6th Cycle Birthday. The Buddha is located next to the Hatyai Cable Car.
