LAVA
Just 2.5 hours from Kalimpong ,get closer to nature at Lava. Situated at an elevation of 7200 feet, it seems mother nature has generously poured all her bounty. NEOR VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Spread across 88 sq m, the Neora Valley National Park is home to the Red Panda. The fauna consists of endangered species such as the Clouded Leopard. Musk deer, Civet, Black Bear, Sloth Bear Golden Cat, Wild Boar, Leopark Cat, Barking Deer, Sambar, Himalayan Flying Squirrel and Thar.
LOLEGAON
Once you enter the Lolegaon Forest, a silence will engulf you, that will take you far from the humdrum of city life.
RISHYAP
Take your pick between a 9km jeep ride and 3km pleasant trek from Lava to reach Rishyap. At an altitude of 8500 feet above the sea level. Rishyp offers a panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga range.Some say the sunrise from here is even better than that from the tiger hill
