The ruins of Khajuraho remained hidden for centuries, preserved by the jungle which took over the abandoned temple complex. 1.       KEN GHARIAL

A wide range of sculptures of the Shakti cult, a significant collection of Jaina images give a glimpse of the religious life of the region. Also explore the lives of the Bundela royalty through the displays of garments, weapons and paintings ( closed on Mondays and gazette holidays)

3.       KALINJAR
The fortress city in Kalinjar is strategically located on an isolated rocky hill overlooking the plains of Bundelkhand. Several dynasties ruled from here over many centuries. Discover the fascinating history of the region and admire the even more amazing rock cut architecture and sculptures. The ruler’s collective imagination highly developed aesthetic sense and religious fervor added to the majestic and grandeur across the centuries. 3.       RANEH FALLS
A natural water fall on the Ken River forms a deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. A series of falls as well as gurgling brooks which emerge with the rains make some of the most scenic sights of the area.

4.       SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW
The evening amidst the grand temples of Khajuraho are well spent witnessing the mesmerizing sound and light show by the tourism department.
