HAMID RUSDI
MONUMENT
The location of
this monument is in Simpang Balapan Street-Ijen Boulevard Malang.This monument
was made of an idea from military army refers to TNI KOREM 083 BALADHKA JAYA to
memorize Major Hamid Rusdi that already rendered this country many services to
achieve Independence.
The monument was officially announced for the first time
in 10 November 1976 at the intersection of Road between Semeru Street and
Arjuna Street.
As success in
maintaining Adipura trophy for the couple time, then Hamid Rusdi Monument has
been replaced by Adipura Monument, Hamid Rusdi Monument was moved to Sena Putra
recreational park. Now, it is in Simpang Balapan Street or Ijen Boulevard.
