Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials and the somber spaces of veterans and war
memorials.
Other urban national parks include New York Gateway, located
in the heart of the city where Gateway ‘s 11 park sites bring national parks
closer to people. The 26000 acres of park land and water span areas of
Brooklyn,Queens , Staten Island and Monmouth County, New Jersey . In Pennsylvania,
Independence Hall is the centerpiece of Independence National Historical Park
in Philadelphia.
It is known primarily as the location where both Declaration
of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated and adopted and
is listed as a World Heritage Site.
From urban national parks to those in the great American
wilderness. Whether it’s camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Shenandoah
National Park in Virgina; taking in the peaks of Great Smoky Mountains National
Park; hugging one of the largest trees on Earth in Sequoia National Park;
hugging one of the popular park sites, such as Glacier National Park, Yosemite
National Park and Zion National Park, the USA has a hotlist of areas that are
just waiting to be explored.
Go fishing and hiking in Lake Mead National Recreation Area
in Arizona and Nevada, home to thousands of desert plants and animals, adapted
to survive where rain is scarce and temperatures can soar. Take an airboat and
enjoy the birdlife across a network of wetlands and forests in the Everglades
National Park.
