HARBIN ICE SNOW WORLD
The Harbin Ice Snow World established the winter of 1999,
brings a breakthrough to traditional ice and snow recreations. Ice and snow
artworks have since said farewell to crowded gardens and walked close to
nature. It combines winter landscapes and recreations with ice and snow
sculptures and show cases beautiful scenery, superb craftsmanship and exciting
entertainment.
YABULI SKI RESORT
Located in Yabuli Town, Shangzhi city, the Yabuli Ski
Resorts lies 200 kilometers west of Harbin.It consists of the world class
Alpine Ski Racing Zone and Recreational Ski Zone. In 1996, the resort hosted
the Third Asian Winter Games. It has now developed into China’s biggest
skitraining and racing base. The Yabuli Windmill Villa Ski Ground has 15 skiing
courses respectibely for elementary, sec and secondary and senior players.
There are also such entertainments facilities as mini golf course, racket
courts , water entertainments and paragliding.
MOUNT ERLONG SKI GROUND
Located 56 kilometres east of Harbin, the Mt Erlong Ski
Ground has8 skiing courses, respectively for elementary, secondary and senior
players. With an area of more than 17000 square meters, its elementary skiing
course can accommodate 4000 to 5000 skiers at the same time. It is known as the
largest ski ground on the suburbs of Harbin.In summer, Mt Erlong also offers
such recreational programs as angling , meadow gliding, rope sliding, rock
climbing and sliding carts.
JIHUA SSKI GROUND
The Jihua Ski Ground lies in the Changshou National Park ,
50 kilometres away from urban Harbin. Surrounded by mountains, it features
abundant snowfalls in winter. The snow melts slowly in spring , so here
tourists can enjoy skiing for nearly 5 months each year.The ski ground
originally had 5 courses. After reconstruction in 2004, it has 15 skiing
courses, including a 100 meter wide course for elementary skiers. Besides, iit
is equipped with 3 cableways and seven towing and leading cables and offer more
than 5000 units of ski equipment.The Ski Tower, with an area of 13000 square
meters , will soon put into use.
