JINGYUETAN NATIONAL FOREST PARK
Situated in the southeast of Changcun City and only 9.5 kilometers from the city proper, the park covers 183 square kilometres , featuring green mountains,crystal pool and beautiful flowers.Surpassing many other parks in Asia in size, the number of tree species and the distance from city proper, it is dubbed by Chinese and foreign tourists as a “Green Pearl”.
The park comprises 5 scenic zones: North Pool Mountains, South Pool Forests, East Pool Village , Moon Water Charm and Ancient Tombs. Main scenic spots include a forest bathing place, a skiing resort, a reservoir dam, Bisong Jingue Tower, Northern Putuo Temple, Mountain of Stone Goats and Stone Tigers, a sandy beach bathing place, a botanical garden, Deer’s Call Mountain Villa, Deer’s Garden , Ginseng Garden and a golf court.
The distinctive tourist resources make the park a “Pure land in the city’s hullabaloo” and an ideal destination for tourists to go for a walk in spring, escape from heat in summer, enjoy red leaves in autumn and play with ice and snow in winter.
XIANFENG NATIONAL FOREST PARK
The Xian Feng National forest Park is located in the territory of Helong city in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, spanning the intermediate zone between Yanji and the highest peak of Changbai Mountain.
According to its current situation, scenery resources distribution and property and functions, the park can be divided into Scenic sightseeing zone, Folk customs Zone and Tourist Service Zone.
The Scenic Sightseeing Zone comprises 36 scenic spots in 3 sub zones: sleeping Buddha in Holy Land, Rimed Scenes by Immortal Lake and Secret Camp of Anti-Japanese Alliance. The folk Customs zone has 6 scenic spot, stringed together by the Songlao Highway.
