NORTHEASTERN TOURIST AREA
WUSU TOWN
As the smallest town around the world, it lies in the
northeastern corner of China. It is also where sunrise can be seen earlier than
any place else in the nation. Adjacent to the Ussuri River on the Sino-Russian
border, the town boasts thriving foliage, fresh air and beautiful landscapes
and is famous for its abundance of salmons both at home and abroad.
JIEJINKOU HEZHEN TOURIST AND HOLIDAY RESORT
Lying 42kilometres from Datong, the resort intergrates
tranquil ecosystem and ethnic cultures and gives a full picture to the history,
civilization and customs of the Hezhen ethnic group. At present, the Hezhen
Ethnic Cultural Village and the Diaoyutai Scenic Spot have been complete,which
include such structures as the Hezhen exhibition Hal, 4 groups o sculptures and
the Square of Dviine Idol. Here, tourists can enjoy songs and dances performed
by Hezhen people, as well as local sports events, Hezhen cuisine ,fish skin
crafting, woodcarvings and craftworks
made of birch barks.There are
also such ttavel programs as wild fruit gathering and snow covered forest tour.
ANBANG RIVER WETLAND PARK
The park lies on the lower reaches of the Anbang River in
Jixian County,Shuangyashan City.Besides dense reeds, there are over 40 rare
species of birds, including such three avian species under first class of
birds, including such 3 avian species under first class state protection as the
red crowned crane, the white crane and the black crane. The park comprises of
many scenic spots and recreation facilities including a hunting ground, a
waterfowl observation station, the Ancient Cultural Garden, the ecological
residential village for humans and the ethnic customs recreation and holiday
village.
