Jilin Province, covering 187400 square kilometres , is home to 27 million people of multiple ethnic groups ,with its capital seated in Changchun City.

                Jilin Province is abundant in tourist resources.                 The long history of Jilin left behind many historical and cultural sites, famous of which include the murals in the tombs of the Ancient Koguryo Kingdom, a World Cultural Heritage; General’s Tomb , dubbed as the ‘Pyramid of the Orient”, and the stele of King Haootai, reputed as the ‘Pyramid of the Orient,” The provincial capital city of Changchun used to be capital of the puppet Manchukuo propped up by Japanese invaders and the site of collapse of Aixinjueluo Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Today, the Puppet Manchukuo Museum and many other colonial sites of the Manchukuo are open to the public.

                A frontier province in Northeast Asia, Jilin offers convenient formalities for sightseers to Russia South Korea and the DPRK.So far, it has opened seven border ports and a dozen transnational tourist routes.
