It’s difficult to explain what it’s like seeing a school of
10000 dolphins or a Southern Right Whale majestically breaching metres away
from you. It’s near impossible to describe the sighting of hundreds of
loggerhead and leather back turtles hatching under the moonlight. One can
hardly begin to capture the magnificence of our seas, lakes and all that
surrounds them.
For where else in the world do you have miles of pristine
sand, dunes , wetlands and castle like rock formations? Where else would you
discover 8 endangered species- all in one place?
Ours is no ordinary coastline, that’s for sure.
Whether you spend lazy days on our Blue Flag beaches or you
enjoy the multitude of water sports on offer, our wonderfully sunny climate
makes our beaches virtually impossible to resist!
Add to that 19 sites designated as Wetlands of International
Importance, areas that are home to animals like hippo, crocodiles , black
rhino, turtles and more, and you have a breathtaking diversity just waiting to
be explored.
