PASAR SENI (CENTRAL MARKET) ,JALAN HANG KASTURI

Pasar Seni or Central Market isan award winning bazaar which offers a wide variety of souvenirs and crafts created by local artists. Hunt for Malay, Chinese or Indian inspired souvenirs or find excellent piece that reflect the traditions of the ethnic groups in SaBah & Sarawak. Designed by architect a designer TY Lee, this building s a fine example of the Art Deco Styles of the 1930 s. It was the first example of a heritage building being adapted for a different use.

PETALING STREET ( CHINATOWN )

Petaling Street or China Town is the place to find everything from novelty items, fresh flowers, clothes, bags, and shoes to timepieces and many more. Genuine, adventurous, visitors can put their bargaining skills to the test.

SZE YA TEMPLE (JUNCTION OF LEBUH PUDU AND JALANTUN H.S.LEE)

This temple has a history dating back to 1864. It was built by Yap Ah Loy, one of the most prominent leaders of the early Chinese community. Sze Ya Temple pays tribute to the deities of Sin Sze Ya and Si Sze Ya, which were said to have guided the Chinese Kapitan during the Selangor Civil War.

KL OLD RAILWAY STATION, JALAN SULTAN HISHAMUDDIN

This splendid building was the hub for the nation’s rail transportation system before the state of the art KL Sentral Station was built. Its Moorish architecture with graceful arches and minarets makes it one of the city’s most photographed landmarks.

MUZIUM DIRAJA (ROYAL MUSEUM), JALAN ISTANA

This museum is housed in a building that was formerly the National Palace.It was opened to the public after the official residence of the King was moved to Jalan Duta.

SRI MAHA MARIAMMAN TEMPLE, JALAN TUN H.S.LEE

Situated at Jalan HS LEE, this temple is one of the oldest in the country. The strikingly beautiful temple has a 22 metre tower and its interior is adorned with painting and sculptures that depict the Hindu deities. During the festival of Thaipusam, this temple is the starting point of the procession that leads to Batu Caves.

ROYAL SELANGOR VISITOR CENTRE

This is the home of the world renowned Royal Selangor pewter. View an assortment of exhibits; go on a guided factory tour or purchase pewter ware and silver jewellery.

KL TOWER, JAAN PUNCHAK, OFF JALAN P. RAMLEE

Standing at a height of 421 meters. KL Tower is one of the most prominent landmarks in the country. It is the seventh tallest telecommunications tower in the world and the tallest in Southeast Asia. The tower is situated in the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve , making it  the  only tower in the world to be located within a forest. View the city skyline from a dizzying height of 276 meters at the Observation Deck and Enjoy

JALAN-JALAN @KAMPUNG BHARU
Kampung Bharu exudes a distinctive Malay identity with traditional wooden houses, mosques, street stalls, old trades and eateries. The area has been occupied by the close knit community that retained their heritage and traditions for generations. Don’t miss the signature delicacies such as Ikan Baakar (grilled fish) and Nasi Lemak .

MALAYSIA TOURISM CENTRE (MATIC) ,JALAN AMPANG

Set in a colonial building, MATIC is one stop centre for tourists. Enjoy a host of facilities such as a 24 hour tourist police counter, internet access, tour agencies, currency exchange, hotel reservations as well as souvenir outlets and a chocolate boutique. Constructedin 1935, MATIC was originally a family residence of a wealthy the miner and rubber estate tycoon. The building has been venue of several important occasions including the first sitting of Malaysia’s parliament.

PETRONAS TWIN TOWER

Standing at a height of 451.9 meters, this gleaming structure of steel and glass is one of the world’s tallest buildings. It is the centre piece of Kuala Lumpur City Center or KLCC, a prime attraction consisting of the Suria KLCC shopping Mall, star  rated hotels, a landscape park and convention centre. Enjoy the exhilaration of standing at the Skybridge on the 41st floor and Viewing Deck on the 86th Floor. Admission is on a first come first serve basis.

PETROSAINS , THE DISCOVERY CENTRE , SURIA KLCC

The exciting destination gives an insight into the petroleum industry. Spread over 7000 squares metres, the centre gives visitors the chance to visit an oil platform, travel in an oil drop shaped vehicle or enjoy a thrilling ride in a helicopter simulator. Equipped with interactive displays, dioramas and other exciting exhibits, Petrosains is a great place for visitors of all ages.

AQUARIA KLCC, KUALA LUMPUR CONVENTION CENTRE

Covering over 60000 sq ft, Aquaria KLCC is a state of the art oceanarium. It showcases 5000 aquatic and land bound creatures from Malaysia and around the world. Designed by experts, the world class facility has a 90 metre transparent underwater tunnel for visitors to get a good look at Sand Tiger Sharks, Gant Stingrays and Marine Turtles. Want something more exciting? Watch piranhas during their feeding times,, or be a daredevil and join the Cage Rage and Dive with Sharks Programmes for a thrilling experience!

THE HERITAGE CENTRE, JALAN STONOR

The Heritage Center offers an insight into Malaysia’s built heritage through exhibitions and seminars. Within its grounds is the Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman, a fine example of a traditional Malay house. Originally the residence of a Malay headman, the house was restored and transported from the northern state of Kedah. It showcases intricate carvings as well as furniture and artefacts.

KUALA LUMPUR CRAFT COMPLEX , JALAN CONLAY

Styled after a Malay village, the complex is an artist’s colony housing handicraft shops, a craft museum and a food court. Visitors can join art workshops to create their own batik piece, try their hand a pottery making, watch how silverware is made, have their caricature painted or just browse around for unique souvenirs.
