PAHANG ENDAU –ROMPIN
Renowned as
a sanctuary for protected wildlife such as the fast disappearing Sumatran
Rhinoceros, the Endau Rompin National Park is more than 130 million years old
and is covered with thick lowland evergreen and hill dipterocarps. It’s a
strictly controlled precinct of natural pristineness, popularly accessible by
visitors. The fragile ecosystem is extremely rick with exotic species of flora
and fauna.
GROUP
ADVENTURES
If you are
visiting in a big group, the Endau- Rompin State park has loads of challenging
activities that will band you and your crew together. Expect hours of fun and
discovery here at the park!
Several
good fishing spots are found at the lower reaches of Kinchin and Kemapan
Rivers. It is said that fish caught in the rivers are evidently bigger than
those caught elsewhere!
NATURE AND
ADVENTURE
Visitor
will find an abundance of activities at the park such as jungle trekking,
picnicking, night jungle walk, canoeing, swimming, bird watching and other
recreational rendezvous. For the more adventurous there is Kelapa Gading Cave
waiting to be explored.
Last but
not least, the park boasts a wild mahseer ( Ikan Kelah) sanctuary at Ulu
Kemapa. This magnificient species is one of the proud natural assets of Endau
–Rompin State Park.

MAHKOTA
WATERFALL
Another 50
metre high mesmerizing waterfall is Mahkota Waterfall, located in the Endau
Rompin State Park. Visitor from the base camp will have to trek about 45
minutes to reach the waterfall.
Note:
Visitors who wish to venture into the jungle are advised to engage a qualified
local nature guide.
