1. KANYAKUMARI DEVI TEMPLE:
Kumari Amman Temple is dedicated to Parvathi as Devi Kanya the virgin goddess who did penance to obtain the hand of Lord Shiva.
Darshan Timings : Between 0400 hours and 1200 hours and again between 1600 hours and 2000 hours.
2. GUGANATHASWAMY TEMPLE
( LORD SHIVA TEMPLE)
This 1000 year old temple is said to have been built by Raja Raja Chola.
Darshan Timing between 0600 and 1100 hours and 1730 hours and 2000 hours .
3. SWAMI VIVEKANANDA ROCK MEMORIAL
Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial built in 1970 . This memorial is dedicated to swami Vivekananda, the greatest social reformer and saint modern India has produced. A meditation Hall is also attached with the memorial. Ferry service is available to reach the memorial.
Timings : between 0800 hours and 1545 hours.
4. THIRUVALLUVAR STATUE
Thiruvalluvar statue have been erected on one of the twin rocks offshore and nearby Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
Thiruvalluvar was a Tamil Poet belonged to Sangam age of Tamil literature and wrote a holy book name called " Thirukkural" . Thirukkural enshrines in it 1330 couplets under 133 chapter and the each chapter comprising 10 verses. The statue is standing mammoth commanding a total height of 133 feet. The pedestal represents the 38 chapters on Virtue and 95 feet statue standing on the pedestal represents Wealth and Love.
5. MAHATMA GANDHI MEMORIAL
In 1948 his ashes were immersed in the sea waters in Kanyakumari. In commemoration of this event beautiful monument has been constructed here. On Mahatma's Birthday ( october 2nd) Sun rays fall the spot where his ashes were placed before immersion.
6. PERUTHALAIVAR KAMARAJ MEMORIAL
near Gandhi Memorial stands a memorial to our beloved leader Karmaveer Perumthalaivar Kamaraj
7. CIRCULAR FORT ( VATTAKOTTAI)
The 18th century fort built by Marthanda Varma, the king of South Travancore, to serve as a defense for Nanjil Nadu. The sea near here is calm and suitable for bathing.
8. SUCHINDRAM TEMPLE
The only shrine dedicated to Trinity is Thanumalaya's at Suchindram .The name Thanumalayan denotes the combination of the Trimurthis . Thanu is a synonym for Lord Shiva, Mal for Vishnu and Ayan For Brahma. carved exquisitely out of a single block of granite, the imposing figure of Anjaneya, 18 feet height, is a product id marvelous sculptural skill. the gigantic image of Nandhi is considered one of the biggest in India.
9. NAGARAJA TEMPLE
The Nagaraja Temple is situated at Nagercoil . The Nagaraja ( SERPENT GOD ) is installed on the ground and where it has originally found and the sands scooped out and given as Prasadam to the devotes.

10. PADMANABHAPURAM PALACE
Padmanabhapuram was the capital of Travancore until 1798 AD. The palace is inside the fort, which covers an area of 6 acres. On display in the places are many antiquities, including the armoury of the Royal family.
The palace to open to the public from 0900 hours to 1700 hours . Monday is a holiday.
11. THIRPARAPPU WATER FALLS
It is one of the wonderful picnic spot in Kanyakumari . Picturesque spot with an ancient Mahadevar ( Siva) temple.
12. MATHOOR THOTTIPALAM
The bridge and lush green surroundings are noted for scenic beauty.
