Spread over 452 acres of land, Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, opened in 2001, has India's first championship golf course designed by the legendary Greg Norman. At 7343 yards, it is the longest course in the country and one of the longest in Asia.
As with other Norman's designs, the layout challenges the very best of the professionals and yet is enjoyable for amateurs. It has some of the best Bermuda greens in the country. Nine huge lakes, five small ponds, and 88 uniquely shaped bunkers are strewn over the course.
The Jaypee Greens Golf Academy offers state-of the-art facilities and innovative teaching methods. The club was awarded the "Best Tourism Friendly Golf Course" by Govt of India, Ministry of Tourism in 2009-2010.
