Set against a backdrop of the rolling Shivalik hills and with the gurgling Ghaggar river for company , Panchkula Golf Club is a very picturesque golf course. With vast swathes of greenery ,PGC regularly hosts premier golfing events and is also one of the venues during the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) .
Golfers can tee off at this exquisitely laid out 135 acre course with narrow fairways , varying elevation and difficult Par 3 's, which are the ingredients of a challenging game. The club also offers a children's putting green with training facility. The PGC is a public sports facility and part of a large sports complex run by the Haryana government.
It also boasts of a modern club house with a restaurant ,bar and a health club . The terrace offers panoramic views of the Shivalik hills a pretty sight.
