A little outside the charming city of Mysore, with the exquisite Chamundi hills in the backdrop, is the 110 acre Jayachamaraja Wodeyar Golf Club. Named after a former Maharaja of the Wodeyar dynasty of Mysore, this course is situated inside Mysore Race Club premises and remains closed during racing season.
Once the haunt of the British , this club was established in 1906, and was recently redesigned by Phil Ryan of Pacific Coast Design; it currently has the water bodies, 37 bunkers and two hazards.
