set in the picturesque town of Pahalgam with a stunning backdrop of fir -covered mountains is the Lidder Valley Golf Course. Designed by Ranjit Nanda, the scenic 19 hole course, situated at an altitude of 2209 m , is a challenging course especially with its narrow fairways and several water hazards.
This course needs you to be physically fit- several tee points will require an uphill walk. Championships are organised here by the state government and private hoteliers in the summers. If you require a golf cart , please book in advance , as there are onli a limited number of carts.
The course remain closed in winters due to heavy snow.
