the luxurious 250 acre fully flood -lit Aamby Valley Golf course, has since its inception in 1994 become one of the most sought after golf courses in the country. Situated in the rolling hills of the Western Chats, the course was designed by the legendary David Hemstock and later upgraded to host championships by PGA DC, UK .
The Vast landscape which is cocooned in the Sahyadri mountain range is breathtaking . It is a thinking man's course with 84 bunkers, 16 hazards , 3 water bodies and accommodates all levels of play. The 18 hole course has 2 distinct characters with 9 holes dotting valleys and the rest between lakes.
Aamby Valley Golf Club also runs a golf academy with British PGA accredited professional trainers who provide individual as well as group sessions. The legends Bar in the club house, with its wooden interiors and cheerful ambiance , is popular 19th hole among golfers. There is a wellness centre , an international school , 2 man made lakes and accommodation styled after Swiss chalets and British bungalows, inside Aamby valley City Complex. Aamby Valley has its own airport , though most take the 20 minute flight from Mumbai.
