MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL
Mid Autumn Festival to be held annually on 14th of the 8th lunar month at Nguyen Tat Nguyen Tat Thanh Squre , Phan Thiet City starting with the Light Greeting Festival and light competition participated by hundreds of colorfully glistening lights.
Night of Light Greeting Festival is a special cultural and spiritual charateristic with each person regardless of age as everybody has his own unforgettably childhood memories. Thanks to interesting feature in the night festival of flowers and lights , Phan Tiet Mid Autumn Festival was recognised by Vietbooks Magazine as a Vietnam's record of " The biggest Mid Autumn Light Greeting Festival in Vietnam'. In 2005, the festival was granted " the Guide Award' with recognition of " the most special and successful cultural festival in the tourism industry.
