BAU TRANG - TRINH NU SAND DUNES
From Phan Thiet City to the Northeast over 60 kilometers , visitors will arrive at Bau Trang. This is the only freshwater lake in Hong Lam Village. Hoa Thang Commune , Bac Binh District . Bau Trang is separated into 2 parts which are anciently called as Bau Ong and Bau Ba by a white traversing sand dune. Bau Ba's area is 70 hectares with the depth of about 19 meters , width of 500 meters and lotus growing around the lake. Bau Ong is smaller but longer . Bau Trang has an abundant flora system and a variety of delicious freshwater fishes such as perch , mullet , catfish , grass carp etc. especially , the lake is always covered all year by blooming lotus in delicate fragrance. Sitting on a small boat rowing around the lake or just fishing preferences of many travelers when arriving the place.
