DOI DUONG PARK
From Victory Monument the city center towards Phan Thiet City through Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, visitors go straight 1 kilometer to Doi Duong Beach, whose name was associated with historic building and development of this coastal city.
Despite being located next to Phan Thiet city's busy center. Doi Duong Beach ( beach of casuarinas tree hills) contains her beauty in gentle lines bending toward green lush hills of casuarinas trees as what the name says. Come to Doi Duong beach to listen to the gentle whispering waves to allay fatigue after hours of busy work.
Reflecting to gentle Ca Ty River, built in 1928 and completed in 1934, which is designed by architect - Prince Souphanouvong ( who later became President of the Lao PDR) ) with contractor Ung taking responsibility for building . Phan Thiet water tower had paired with the people of this young city through many ups and downs of history to become a symbol of Binh Thuan.
The water tower was built of brick, in which words carved to circles of the tower assembled from pieces of porcelain delicately. The tower is 32 meters high , 9 meters of diameter ) and 27 meter high cylindrical shrinking tower's body on the tower. Looking from far distance, the tower looks like a giant blooming lotus . The green of trees covering around with the gentle beauty of Ca Ty River highlight the majestic posture and stability of the tower.
