The tower House- Museum of the Territory / Center for Archaelogical Studies is a building with a central tower from the 14th century, in which modifications were made throughout the ages, especially in the 18th century.
In august 2017, it opened as a museum , with the exhibition of several archaeological objects collected in the Municipality, covering several chronological times. It stands out Roman material collected in the Centum Cellas and the Quinta da Fornea, medieval , collected in the Castle of Belmonte and House of the Tower and modern, essentially collected in the convent of the Hope.
In the backyard of the building , there is also the presence of a cistern , vestiges of 17th century walls and a contemporary wine press.
