This building from the beginning of the 16th century is located in the main square facing of the church of S. Joao Baptista, on the spot where once in the times of Henqique "O Navegador " the town fair was held . the former palace of King D. Manuel I does not display any particular elements of the Manueline style, since in the second half of the sixteenth century the building renovated according to Mannerist project.
