Once a warehouse where old Portuguese units of a measurement were used , the square shape of these units helped now to baptize building. It was also used as barracks and most recently was used as an office building. Restored and refurbished under the EU Polis Program, the Cubes House Maintained essentially its exterior layout but the inside was completely redone. The project has earned , among others, a prize in the Contract world Award and the nomination for the European Union Contemporary Architecture Prize.
