Originally a harbor warehouse , the Pier -2 Art center has become a unique ocean side open art space after some modification. artists and cultural workers are invited to demonstrate their creations and large scale exhibitions are regularly held. these promotional efforts have made the Art Center the hottest art and leisure venue in recent years.

2. KAOHSIUNG MUSEUM OF LABOR
The Kaohsiung Museum of Labor is located at Taiwan Sugar Corporation's C4 warehouse , just next to the Pier-2 art Center. It is the first museum in Taiwan to feature Taiwanese laborers and has devoted itself to the preservation of the cultural value of Taiwan's laborers. the museum manages to maintain Kaohsiung's image as an industrial city from the perspective of labor culture and aims to share their achievements with visitors , especially laborers.

3. KAOHSIUNG FIL ARCHIVE
Located by the Love River , the Kaohsiung Film Archive is the first social education organization in Kaohsiung to promote film culture. In the evenings, blue and purple light the building emits, the ripples on the Love River and street entertainers' performances constitute the artistic atmosphere along the Love River.

The Kaohsiung Museum of History was originally the Kaohsiung City Hall. With its outside appearance still retaining the Japanese architectural style, it is listed as a municipal historic site and has become an exemplar for the revitalization of historic sites. the old pictures and historic relics housed help visitors understand Kaohsiung's evolution.

Designed by and constructed under the supervision of, the internationally famous architect Toyo Ito, the 2009 World games Main Stadium is renowned for its eco friendly design. The stadium was constructed with recycled and 100% recyclable materials. The 8844 solar panels that make up the roof not only generate power but also can be used as sunshade, The stadium's open design is artistic and eye catching.
