2. GOING CAVING
Malaysia has a vast number of limestone caves.These caves are home to fruit bats, birds, invertebrates and insects. Some caves are archaeological sites while others are used to harvest edible bird’s nests. Just like other activities, caving too has varying levels of difficulty. Show caves such as Gua Kelam in Perlis has well –lit walkways.

The Deer Cave can accommodate London’s St Paul’s Cathedral 5 times over while the Sarawak Chamber can accommodate 40 Boeing 747 aircrafts. These caves are situated in Mulu National Park, Sarawak.


3. A GLIMPSE OF WILDLIFE

Malaysia’s primeval rainforests offer great opportunities to observe tropical flora and fauna. Most species are exotic, rare and endemic to the particular region. Lucky visitors can spot small animals at the observation hides and canopy walkaways. Remote areas are inhabited by mammals such as the Sumatra rhinoceros, elephants, tapirs, tigers, wild boars, deer, monkeys, gibbons and sun bears.

Malaysia has an array of national parks and recreational forests that are ideal for communing with nature. The varied environments range from dipterocarp rainforests, swamp mangroves, river floodplains to montane hills capes.
