It’s not called Coral Island for nothing; the snorkeling off Banana beach is thrilling and if you go out far enough from long beach you will also have a lot to discover, at its impressive coral reef.

PHUKET ZOO

Phuket Zoo is a small zoo located near the north end of Chalong Bay. Perfect for families and have tigers, elephants, monkeys , crocodiles, camels, many different birds in all sizes, a small aquarium , butterfly garden and so on. Best part of the zoo is 3 shows they have several times daily. It’s little bit like a circus where elephants, monkeys and crocodile are trained to do many different tricks for tourists.

WAT CHALONG

Wat Chalong is the most popular temple in Phuket. Here stands the cast statue of Luang Por Cham, who helped the people of Phuket put down the Angyee, or the Chinese Coolie Rebellion in 1876.There are also statues of Luang Por Chaung, Luang Por Gluam and other monks, who were abbots of the temple during later times. The statues are objects of much deference to the Phuket people.

Phuket City Municpalityis a juristic person under the law of Thailand. The administration of Phuket City was upgraded from a sanitary office to a town municipality by virtue of the Royal Decree of Phuket Town Municipality establishment in 1935 and recently it has been promoted as a city municipality 13 February 2004, covering the area of 12 square kilometres of 2 sub districts: Talard Neua (4 square kilometres ) and Talard Yai ( 8 square kilometres) respectively.
