THE INTENTIONS OF THE ONLY PASSIONS OF JACINTA: PARTICIPATING
IN REDEMPTION
Standing by the cross of Jesus, were the mother and the
disciple there whom he loved.

In jail, we decided to say our Rosary, Once the Rosary was
over, Jacinta was over, Jacinta went over to the window and started crying
again.
-Jacinta, I asked, don’t you want to offer this sacrifice to
our Lord?
-Yes. I do, but I keep thinking about my mother and I cannot
help crying.
We agreed that each of us would choose one of these attentions.
One would offer for sinners, another for the Holy Father and yet another for
the Holy Father and yet another in reparation for the sins against the
Immaculate Heart of Mary. Having decided on this, I told Jacinta to choose
whichever intention she preferred.
I am making the offering for all the intentions, because I
love them all.
JACINTA’S SECRET
SHE WANTED TO PARTICIPATE IN REDEMPTION
The message of Fatima can be summarized as follow: to want
to participate in redemption, that is in the mystery of salvation of man from
sin, accomplished by Christ who died and rose again. Jacinta assumed with the
complete freedom and absolute love the “Yes, we want!” With which Lucia, on
behalf of the 3, answered the question that Our Lady asked them at the first
apparition: “Do you want to offer yourselves to God”……to participate could thus
be formulated. Jacinta’s participation is complete and unifies her life in one
love that involves all intentions.
