CHAWENG STREET SHOPPING
From North Chaweng to South, you will come across stalls
selling T-shirts, cheap jewellery , DVD’s , knock off “ branded” clothes etc
that you will not be sure you need or not. Here, there are shops dedicated to
rolling luggage, lots of flower power bags and silk ties as well as sandals and
hats.
SAMUI WALKING STREET
Every Friday evening Bophud’s Fisherman’s Village turns into
a very popular walking street. If plenty of things are on sale, being in
Thailand it’s mainly food but also plenty of different clothing, partly second
hand,partly cheap bargains and plenty of other things are on sale as well.
BIG C
Another large mall featuring a central supermarket with many
satellite stores selling good ranging from gold jewelry and sell phones to
Persian carpets, sportswear , fashion accessories and children’s toys to
pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. There are plenty of restaurants in case you feel
hungry and a few banks in which to exchange money as well as a big, but
bizarrely designed parking lot.
